Pinterest feed on your blog

I finally figured out how to put Pinterest Feed up on my blog. I'm excited, because I have been wanting it on my blog. I'm no computer nut, but I wish I was! This site made it almost dummy proof, which is my kind of site. Best of all its free.

The website is : http://business.pinterest.com/en/widget-builder#do_embed_pin

The website will bring up this page. You get to choose which widget is best for your blog. on the Right side of the pic above.
From there go to Custom Size: to see what size you would like.  Whats great after you pic you can scroll down and see their example. Give it a second to load.

This picture is a pic of the example it will give you. So you have a chance to play around with the kind of Pin Widget and then Size before posting it up on your blog. This came out very handy.

After you have picked your selection, go to your Pinterest personal page and copy your URL address and paste it in the Highlighted Blue box that I have shown above. Your box will not be highlighted. I did It to show you where to plug it in. On the bottom it will as copy their html link for your blog. Copy and paste it to your blog under your layout and
 Your done!!

So You have figured out how to get the information, but how to put into your blog. Your in luck :D I have a quick snapshots I took on how to do it. I hope this helps.

So where we last left off, you have the code and not sure where to paste it.

When you go to your blog, go to overview and scroll down to your left side till you see Layout. I have it high lightened in gray so you can see it. Well kind of, I might of should of picked a brighter color.

This is what should pop up. And on the right side you see in BLUE  letters that say "Add a Gadget". Click on that and another window will pop out.

After you push "Add A Gadget", this window will pop up. Not as big, but I blew it up for this purpose. I have highlighted in Blue what to push next. Its around the 7th one down. Click on "HTML/JavaScript"   and of course that will bring up another window.

This is the next window that will pop up. You can title it if you like, then on the big box plug in that copy and paste from the previous website. Push Save! And now your rockin' with gold! You have just plugged in your Pinterest feed to you blog!!!

Becoming a youth soccer coach.

The Alaniz family become U6 Soccer Coaches :D

Israel, Isaac, and Me after our first practice watching big brother Joshua soccer practice.

This year I decided to help out our community recreation center with soccer. I knew this year they were low on volunteers and my youngest who just turned 4 was joining this year. Then I thought, Why Not. Little did I know there is so much that goes into it and its a different kind of workout. It really challenges you in other areas with kids that you never thought you could be challenged on. Especially with other peoples kids and have their parents just watching you, and all for FREE. Yup, not only did I pay for my two boys to join soccer but became a coach for free. My husband said I was crazy. LOL.

But soccer season has started and after the first day I feel like its not that bad. I do get a great sweat on and the kids seem to really enjoy it. Only problem is, I had to volunteer my husband as an assistant coach. He wasn't too thrilled about that, since he was already waking up at 4:30am I just extend his day. I can see in his eye that he does like it. He may say he doesn't like kids but his own, but he never gets mad at the kids and you can totally see it makes him happy.

So for soccer of a team of 3 year old to 6 year olds you really need patients, I mean patients!!!!! They don't follow any of my rules or direction and they like to hit. I have no idea why. Having to organize snacks for games, make playful games to teach them how to play soccer, contact the parents every other day, make sure every parent is happen, pass out uniforms, make sure everyone knows game times, and etc. I think Im finally getting the hang of it after a week :D, a little pat on my back for me. Pat Pat!!

Daddy and son practicing a drive into the goal

Isaac going against his opponent to make a goal
The best part, I get to see my son play with other kids and have fun, kids running up to me calling me coach and being so excited and telling me about their days, parents thanking me for being awesome of course. LOL. With all that I don't think I will do it again next season. Only because I don't really get to see my youngest play during game day or watch him during practice, and I can't watch my oldest at practice or much at game days. Still a great experience.
Isaac basically telling me he is done, and is ready to go home. Still looked cute

So I decided to try PACT app on my phone

I forgot what show I saw this app on, but I saw how the lady using this app got $74 dollars. Just for working out!  So I had to get the app. I mean its basically Free money, and It would probably make me workout more. RIGHT??

https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/pact-earn-cash-for-living/id456068701?mt=8

<--- so if your going to download it, it will display this picture.

So this is my profile, and I have only earned $4.58 and can't pull out the money till its $10

But in my thoughts I didn't really like the app.
Reasons:
1. I had to use their recommended apps. Like "runkeeper", but I was already using endomondo and it wasn't one of the apps Pact wanted you to use.

2. I used their app for running with their recommended app and it didn't count it. So after my run for more then 30 mins. (Pact requires you run or walk for 30 for it to count). I tried syncing it TONS of times and then even waiting a day, before I emailed them. And I needed it to count, if not they will charge me a fee. And of course they gave me directions that I already tried doing, but nothing. So they credit it to me. Four days of emailing them they stop believing me, and wanted me to send proof, and still gave me a hard time. It gave me more stress to worry about in my day. I don't need more

4. So since that part wasn't working with my running. I decided to use their motion tracker to track my runs. Well had problems with that too. I would run for more then 30 mins, but the tracker didn't count all of it. It's basically saying I wasn't in motion for half my run. But me being tired totally disagreed with that. So I would have to wave my arms in the air and walk till I reached 30 mins.

This is the motion tracker on after my run. It didn't count all my mins of running.

For one week of working out, I get only $1.68

5. Money, the reason why I started this. Well one of the main reason. So you can earn money, but not much. Not enough in one week to buy gum! You have choices of how man-days you want to work out for. I chose 7, thinking its the best for me receiving more money. Well I only got $1.68 for a whole week of working out. But the next week I forgot to turn on their motion tracker for my run, and of course realized the next day. Meaning I missed a day of working out. I got charged $5 at the end of the week. :(

I'm not getting any money for this week! Why cause I forgot to turn the app on. But they all get my money ASAP!

6. You can't pull your money out till you have reached $10. BUT they are quick at the end of the week to take your money.

7. NO matter how mad you get at the app or the people who made it, you are not allowed to quit till the end of the month!!!!!!!!!!!!!

8. In all I can't wait for the end of the month! Cant even get my money I earned, because it means I have to continue for another month of this crap.

My comments are only about the workout part of the app. The app has two other choices you can do to be healthier.

If you like the app Pact. Awesome, I guess I get frustrated too fast.

Whats your thoughts?
